State of the Union, Wine Mouth Style

Happy 2018! 

It's hard to believe we're already one month into the new year. Where does the time go?! When we last checked in with you, we were fresh off a wedding (Jesse's) and a baby (JMo's). In true best friend fashion, both of our life-changing events took place in less than 24 hours from each other. We couldn't have planned it better if we tried! Life is funny like that sometimes. 

At the beginning of the year, Jesse and I sat down to discuss the direction of Wine Mouths. In our meeting, we talked about what worked in 2017 (defining our voice! wine!) and what didn't (*cough* blogging consistently *cough*), and where we want to go from here.  2018 is going to be a good year. We've got lots of wine events in the works, some fun new business ventures and professional development planned, and lots of wine and fun to be had. And of course, we're planning to stick with the blog, although you may see some changes around these parts. 

When we began Wine Mouths in 2010, our sole focus was to start a blog to catalogue and share our North Carolina winery experiences. Even in our wildest dreams, we never would have imagined where that journey has taken us.
